Chem Master hoses have specially compounded tube constructions designed to handle up to 1200 different acids and bases. Gates has perfected the use of Gatron modified cross-linked polyethylene in its Chem Master Plus and XTreme offerings. This feature provides great hose-to-coupling interface strength as well as temperature limits of up to 300 deg F. Some of the recommended applications include bulk tank truck, barge, ship or storage tank transfer.
